  • What is an Escape Room?
Escape games are real-life, interactive puzzle rooms that require players to work together in order to solve clues, answer riddles, decipher codes, and find hidden items before the clock hits 0. You have 60 minutes. Will you be the next Escape Whiz?
  • Can I walk in and book a room?

Booking online is the best way to see available time slots and to insure that you have secured your reservation time. This will allow you to get waivers signed (via email) as well as it let's our staff know exactly when to expect you. • Am I really LOCKED in a room?
The escape rooms are typically designed with a theme or mission in mind. The rooms at Escape Whiz are NOT LOCKED and customers can freely exit the game at any time if they need to. Obviously there are locked doors and puzzles within the Escape Games - but the main room's door and all fire exits are NOT LOCKED.
  • Can I leave the room once the game starts?
Here at Escape Whiz we will not penalize a customer or a team if a player has to leave the room momentarily. Our Game Masters that monitor the rooms are glad to assist you or anyone in your party that may need to step out of a game momentarily. Just speak to the cameras and microphones that are monitored in every room and the Game Master will promptly NOTE: The time will not be paused while the other guest continue to play - but they will not receive any penalty for a player that needs to be excused from the game briefly.
  • Why can't I bring my phone or smart watch into the escape game?
Phones are not allowed because we can't have the availability of individuals to take pictures and videos and possibly spoiling the puzzles and surprises in the various games for future players. Smart watches have a lot of capabilities but the main reason we don't allow smartwatches is because of the magnetic charging port. They will magnetize and set off some of the electronic props in the rooms. NOTE: If you have to keep your phone with you because of work or other mandatory reasons - just let our staff know prior and we will work with you to insure that you and your team will enjoy your escape game.
